HR Starter Pack — Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before completing your purchase. By purchasing the EPS HR Starter Pack, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Licence and Permitted Use
The EPS HR Starter Pack (the “Pack”) is licensed for use by the purchasing individual or entity only. The Pack, including all templates, documents, checklists, and accompanying materials, may be used solely for the purchaser’s own business or businesses. You may not resell, sublicence, share, distribute, or otherwise transfer the Pack or any of its components to any third party — including clients, contractors, or affiliated companies — without prior written consent from Expert People Solutions.
2. Not Legal Advice
The Pack is designed to provide practical HR documentation and guidance for Singapore-based employers. Nothing in the Pack, or in any communications provided as part of the support included with your purchase, constitutes specific legal advice. The documents and templates are provided for general guidance purposes only.
Employment law is fact-specific and can change. You are welcome to contact EPS for guidance on specific cases — this is exactly the kind of thing the support channel is there for. Where matters are more complex or carry legal risk, you are also encouraged to seek independent legal advice, particularly where there is potential for dispute. Expert People Solutions accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the Pack without obtaining appropriate legal counsel where required.
3. Email and WhatsApp Support
Your purchase includes 30 days of email, WhatsApp, and SMS support, commencing on the date of purchase (the “Support Period”). Support covers any HR question that can reasonably be answered via these channels — not just questions relating to the Pack itself. If you’re unsure whether something falls within scope, just ask.
Support is provided on an asynchronous basis. We aim to respond to all messages within 24 hours during business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Singapore public holidays). Response times during weekends and public holidays may be longer.
The Support Period may be extended beyond 30 days by paying the prevailing rate at the time of extension. Please contact us prior to the end of your Support Period to arrange this.
Support does not include the preparation of bespoke legal documents, representation in employment disputes, or advice that constitutes legal services. For matters of that nature, we recommend engaging a qualified employment lawyer.
4. Intellectual Property
All content within the Pack — including templates, frameworks, guides, and written materials — remains the intellectual property of Expert People Solutions. Your licence to use the Pack does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property rights. You may adapt the templates for use within your own business, but may not present the materials as your own original work or use them commercially (for example, to provide HR consulting services to clients).
5. Accuracy and Updates
We take care to ensure the materials in the Pack are accurate and compliant with Singapore employment law at the time of publication. However, legislation and regulations can change. Your purchase includes 12 months of updates, during which we will notify you of any material changes to the Pack’s documents. After 12 months, updates may be made available separately.
6. Refunds
Given the digital nature of the Pack, all sales are final once the materials have been delivered. If you experience a technical issue accessing your purchase, please contact us and we will resolve it promptly. If you have any concerns about your purchase before accessing the materials, please get in touch — we’re happy to help.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Expert People Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the Pack or reliance on its contents. Our total liability to you in respect of any claim arising from or in connection with your purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the Pack.
8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
